Above is an example of a dual sensor permanent installation. A sensor was placed at the bottom of the tubing string and a second sensor was installed in a carrier sub in the annulus. Both sensors are attached to individual Comm Lines terminating at the Surface Control Unit supplying accurate BHP/BHT data.

SURFACE READ OUT (SRO) SYSTEM

The Remote Wireline Surface Read Out system (SRO) provides precision pressure and temperature measurements in a versatile package designed to excel at reservoir or aquifer testing and monitoring.

Since the introduction of our SRO system in 2005, our systems have earned a reputation for superior accuracy and rock solid reliability.

The system is comprised of three interdependent components: 1) Surface Control Unit - collects, processes and transmits data. 2) Downhole Sensors - highly accurate and reliable, send readings to Control Unit. 3) Comm Line connects Control Unit to Sensors.

Depending on system configuration, data can be retrieved in several ways: manually by PC or SD card download or via local SCADA system. Communication options include cellular or satellite modem links.

The SRO system can be installed in single sensor or multi-sensor variations. Cost effective system installations can be performed in wells under pressure.
